Symbio Congress 2022
„Microbial therapy – next level precision probiotics“ – that was the subject of the 5th Symbio congress on November 5, 2022. The congress offered exciting specialist lectures dealing with the new generation of probiotics. Precision probiotics are products containing selected strains of bacteria with precisely defined effects and targeted application.
The focus of the Symbio congress was on gut flora-based prevention of diabetes type 2 and its associated obesity. Here, it is beneficial to take advantage of the targeted effects of selected bacterial strains.
Again, the Symbio congress 2022 took place as an online event. Here, with more than 850 participants, a new record was set. This time, the lectures were transmitted from the company's own film studio in Herborn.
The congress was moderated by Professor Dr. Andreas Schwiertz, MVZ Institute for Microecology and part-time professor at Justus Liebig University Giessen.
